I hadn't been involved with it since 2004. They are listed in the phone book. Call them. They might say yes.

Thanks for the tip on Westmoreland. After digging around a bit, it looks like they have a 35lb limit on dogs, so I would probably have a chance with them. The location is perfect, especially considering that I'm always on the SW part of campus. The rent is far less than what I'm paying right now, so that is definitely a bonus. I'll give them a call. Fingers crossed that they'll consider me! It also looks like Jennings (the parent property management company) has a few other dog-friendly options on their website. For whatever reason, I hadn't checked with them yet.

Renter advice: 50 lbs is usually the cutoff for a large dog. Tell them your dog weighs 40 lbs. They won't check and it's hard to tell. Heck I owned a 50 lb corgi once.

Why would you encourage someone to lie? Are there no morals in this country anymore?

OP, maybe you will increase your chances of getting your pet into a more local apartment if you get renter insurance with the liability covering your dog. Acorn mgt had a requirement about that so it is a thought!
