Oh my gosh, CappyOne, thank you for posting the link to that story about the Eugene air not being as bad as some stats show! We've been considering the idea of moving to the area around Eugene or a little south, and I was worried by what I'd been finding about air quality (scorecard.org, etc.). I could tell the data I was finding was either not current or not relevant to the area we're considering, but I wasn't finding anything real. Bad air quality is one of the big reasons we want to leave where we are now (horrible ozone, some of the worst in the country, and pretty bad PM2.5 as well, and these are real-time measurements very near us, not nebulous projections for the whole county based on occasional measurements in one area far from us). This thread is very helpful and encouraging.
