Requirements:
Budget $160/w incl.
Hard-wired Internet

Anywhere in Oregon, I give zero ****s about culture, city-scape, etc. Just want a healthy place (have asthma) to relax and enjoy life.

I basically care about: Air quality, Fuji Apples, and fast (5MB wired) internet.

Does a place fit my needs in Oregon? Should I be looking outside the US?

I would PREFER a property that has been 100% paid for, and the owner has a similar mindset as my own (Cares about air quality, No tolerance for vaping or smoking, etc.)

FRESH AIR. No cigarettes, cigarillos, cigars, marijuana, etc.

P.S. I was thinking Wenatchee Washington, for fresher apples, as the average time since a "supermarket" apple was picked is 14 months.

Wenatchee would be a good choice. You won't get much for your budget in Oregon. At least not anywhere where apples will grow.

I'm mystified as to why you only want to rent a room in a fully paid for house. Are you hoping to sue and want to make it worth your while?

Are you talking about $160 a week? A month? You might be able to find something here for that much a week but not a month. House shares are pretty expensive here and usually, you pay part of the services and utilities.

Housing is expensive in Wenatchee, I'd guess much more so than in many parts of Oregon. I'm looking for a place too because I hope to be getting a job there. I haven't seen much if anything for $640/month.
