Try volunteering at the WOW Hall if you like music. They have volunteer orientations once or twice a month, and after you attend one you can volunteer at any concert you want. All you have to do is work half the show, then see the other half free. They get some pretty good shows, and it's always worth checking out something new if you are getting in free.

I just found out today that Woodcraft on Coburg road has free woodworking classes on Saturdays at 1 o'clock. I'd love to learn how to make my own wooden spoons!

If it was a cinnamon toothpick it would be worth the work. I love cinnamon toothpicks.

Did I mention the Eugene Weekly for finding free stuff to do? Even the Eugene Weekly itself is a free publication, or you can go online... in the Calendar section there are always some free things listed. Right now they are even offering FREE seeking employment ads in their classifieds section. It's a liberal paper, so be warned. But the calendar section is really thorough with lots of things listed for all kinds of people and different interests. If you're bored and looking for something to do, it's worth checking out.
