I'm not excited or anything. It's just going to be so nice not to have to drive all the way to Corvallis when the craving hits!

Haha, I'm glad you like it. I was a little disappointed myself the first time I tried it... I'll have to give it another shot though!

Where is it? North Eugene? Coburg Road? West 11th? Downtown?

They are giving away free burritos on their pre-opening day, June 4th: Chipotle Mexican Grill Free Burrito Day | KVAL CBS 13 - News, Weather and Sports - Eugene, OR - Eugene, Oregon | Community Calendar

By the way, I think Qdoba (near UO on 13th) is as good or better than Chipotle.

Burrito Boy, on the other hand, is low-grade stuff. No comparison. Who eats there?!?

Coburg Rd north past the Old Navy/Bed, Bath, and Beyond shopping area... there's a little automatic car wash place right sorta next to it...

I don't like the Chipotle burrito's, actually... too big and too much tortilla... just too much... but I really love the salads. My husband and my boys love the burrito's. They go nuts over them. Their meat is good and their rice is really good when you're in a white rice kinda mood. I'm usually more of a brown rice girl but once in awhile I get a craving for Chipotle rice. They do something to it... lime juice? cilantro? Not sure. I like it though.

Thanks for the Qdoba tip!

I drove by Chipotle today... there were like hundreds of people lined up.... it was worse than getting gas at CostCo! I decided I didn't need a free burrito...

Another great burrito in Eugene is served at Jallisco on 11th. It is more of a traditional burrito rather than a yuppified Qdoba burrito, but both are good depending on your mood. Jallisco is also really nice since they give you all-you-can-eat chips and salsa (it's a sit down restaurant). At $8.75 for a giant super burrito, plus free chips and salsa, it's really a great deal. I have not added a review of Jallisco to my website yet, but I will eventually. (I will also review Nachos soon; just ate there a few days ago, and I give it a big thumbs down; still trying to figure out some goofy way to structure the official review.).

We haven't even been to Chipotle yet... and we might not even go now. Every time we've driven by - it's overflowing with trendy-looking shiny-happy people! My husband said... forget about it... we made tuna melts for lunch today instead!

Mmmm. I ate there the day before yesterday. I've changed my mind--it's decent. I'd rather have Laughing Planet though... Mmmm.
