Out of curiosity, why are you limiting yourself to the 7ème? The public transportation system in Paris is excellent, so you could easily attend school anywhere in the city. I understand that you are looking for a school to study French, right? One of the best French language schools in Paris is the Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne. It is a public institution affiliated with the Sorbonne. You could also look into classes at the Alliance Française of Paris.

[LEFT]I was limiting to my choices to the 7ème purely because that would be where we would be moving too, I am aware of the transport situation in Paris, but due to having young children with me thought it would be much easier to look at schools in our area first. My oldest, whose 6 has an almost fluent knowledge of French and thought it best to place her in a native French school.

Why not just put her into the public system?

I probably will put her into the public school system, but I know about a couple of public schools in the Paris area, however I want to look at all of the possibilities
