Thanks for the advise. I will make sure to do as much of that as possible. Just out of curiosity, why do you think it would be expensive for me to eat at that restaurant?

_______________

You can eat a good Menú - three course meal (entrant, main dish, dessert and wine) for 10 to 15 euros.
Menús are served until 3 or 4 PM.
Eating at a restaurant like "Los Caracoles", "7 portes", "Casa Leopoldo", "Casa Amaya" from 50 to 80 euros.

I just came back from Barcelona in late August and fell in love with the city. It's beautiful. If you have time, try and take the train to Stiges which is a few miles outside the city. The town is awesome.

That sounds about right. Still, not very far at all.

1. I know that many people in Barcelona speak Catalan as a first language. This won't be my first trip to Spain, but it will be my first to Barcelona.

2. What are some of the best places to visit in Barcelona for the locals? Not the touristy areas, I prefer to avoid the crowds of tourists and prefer to visit the places locals go to.

3. What are some good restaurants to visit? and before anybody suggests anything, I hate seafood lol!

4. How long should I plan to stay? Time is not a factor, but how long should I stay to get the full Barcelona experience?
The new Barcelona airport is a dream. Have your camera ready when you land.

The Avenue Portal del angel is wow. Every building is unique. You'll love the architecture. When you walk on that avenue look up, to the buildings. The barrio gótico is nice too.

OMG yes. The airport in BCN is beautiful. It makes America's airports look like gas stations...
