Jawohl AND Ja genau = both right :-)
Melanie
I just read a very interessting good book, which is a Bestseller in Germany and written by a judge of a juvenile court. She worked as a judge in Berlin, the "main capital of youth crime" . Her name is Kirsten Heisig and the books name is translated " The End of patience".
She did suicide short after writing the book.
Everybody who reads her book can understand, WHY we dont like the Turkey OR more turkish people, especially young turkish people, in Germany! It`s a fact that most crime is done by them and other muslim people.
I am not a Nazi. But all germans know, that our government did too much mistakes during the last years. Everybody came to Germany, people without german language skills, without any education, not accepting german rules and laws, taking money from the government / social welfare, sending money to their familys, dealing with drugs, AND DRIVE EXPENSIVE MERCEDES CARS OR BMW!!!!
Sorry... thats what most / NOT ALL germans think at this moment....

I can believe it. There is 3.5 million Turks in Germany now - this number is scary.
BTW there are many Poles living in Germany, I was wondering what is German's view on them, did it improve anything recently?

Nah, that's urban legend. It's an old joke used for Albania, Ukraine or whoever is the villain for you.

That's what is really chilling about the current crisis not just in Ireland but across the globe. The banks are forcing the taxpayer to lend to pay the bill owed to the same financial interests who dictate from a position of self-interest by holding stakes in the bonds market and who will then in turn inflict a bigger levy on the taxpayer for having the audacity to bail them out in the first place. They have a monopoly on democracy and I think all the countries in the EU would be better off going into liquidation than having the bonds markets prodding and barging their way into the forefront of their democracy, vetoeing any democratically sanctioned policies that the 'bonds vigilantes' disgagree with.
The EU was supposed to welcome a new era of independence for Ireland instead of becoming more European with the Euro the Irish depressingly became far more British in mentality and followed the aggressive laissez faire regime dynamics favoured by Thatcher and Blair more than the stable and steady growth of our far more succesful counterparts elsewhere in Europe. Their business establishment bent over backwards to appease British businesses and banks looking to invest and gorge on a gravy train of greed and tax deductible digits.
If I was a country like Norway I wouldn't touch the EU with a bargepole. Germany appaears to be in a prominent position as a county with slow, steady and unspectacular growth but other nations that can't compete may feel they have no choice but to rein in an era of boom and bust irregularity that is extremely dangerous for global solidarity and independence.
Any decision to place democracy in the overbearing and self-serving hands of global financiers and the bonds market would be insane. If they could get away with it (and they have so far) they would certainly seek to compel all EU countries to retract to the bare bones of a low tax, asset scarce, financial sector centric economy based on thin air. Then when all the loot evaporates into thin air it's time to leave the bar tab with the taxpayer just to sustain a fatally flawed sector of an economy that has to keep expanding on a bloated diet of self-indulgence even if it means stripping everything down to the barest and most subservient of skeletal frameworks. No thanks .
|
All very true. Problem being of course is that no elected government seems to want to take the global financiers on.
How and who are going to tackle this problem? Not the British, who are scared of the banks relocating from The City,France has made some positive noises with calls for greater regulation but at the end of the day one wonders if these criminals can be brought to heel.Is the will there?

Thing is though is that for the most part these people are German born and bred with many in their second or third generation as such.
Bit like calling Black Brits Jamaicans or Trinidadians owing to their parents, grand parents or even great grand parents came from those islands.
These kids are a product of the society that they are growing up in.
There is actually little crime in Muslim societies and no tolerance to youth crime.
We need perhaps to dig a little deeper and be aware of the abundance of right wing rhetoric around these days blaming the most vulnerable in society, the poor, immigrants, mentally ill, disabed etc.
Remember there are agendas at work to down grade or worse dismantle the welfare states at large. What better way than to blame sponging foreigners whatever country it may be.
