Actually you can find men looking like that throughout the Mediterranean, for instance here in Portugal.
The ancient Phoenicians settled on many Mediterranean coasts, and even on the Atlantic coast.

I guess Lebanese women look more distinct than men, maybe because those ancient settlers were almost exclusively men while women stayed in Phoenicia.

I am not all that familiar with Portuguese look, but those "puffy" cheeks are typical for Arabs, Turks and Azeris.

P.S. Yes, Lebanese women have even more of those puffy cheeks I've noticed)))))

Lebanese people are principally a Mediterranean people of the Levant, probably descendants of Ancient Phoenicians. They principally dark, however there is light complected minority which is the result of admixture from the Roman times, the Crusades and European colonization. They are among the lightest-complected Middle-Easterners as other Levantines, especially Lebanese who are Christians have the highest European admixture in comparison to other lebanese who are darker. Nevertheless European admixture should not be exaggerated. Some Lebanese could pass as Maltese, Greeks, Spaniards, Italians and fewer as other Europeans. Over-all they are still much darker than Southern Europeans who are in turn the darkest in Europe.
There is a minority of Lebanese with light eyes as well, according to a study nearly 20% have blue and green eyes which is higher than most Middle-Eastern countries, excepting Turkey and Armenia. However distant Sub-Saharan African ancestry is found in a small minority as well, will sometimes will reveal itself in facial features as well, this is not only due to the Arab slave-trade but also proximity to Africa. Phoenicians did trade with other parts of Africa as well.

Genographic Project.

LEBANESE

This reference population is based on samples collected from the native population of Lebanon. As some ancient populations migrated from Africa, they passed first through Southwest Asia en route to the rest of Eurasia. Some populations stayed in the Middle East and southwestern Asia, over time developing unique genetic patterns. The 66% Mediterranean and 26% Southwest Asian components found in our reference Lebanese population reflect these ancient patterns. The Silk Road also may have served to disperse east Asian genetic patterns further to the west. Finally, the 2% sub-Saharan African component reflects the relatively close proximity of Lebanon to Africa, and may have been increased by the Arab slave trade during the 8th-19th centuries.

Many southern europeans are able to pass as lebanese, even more than a few French and British/Irish.

I'd say lots of people in Latin/Atlantic Europe, including southern Germany, since "Greek Syrians" were the administrators, managers and technical staff in the Roman Empire. Not to forget they founded the oldest city in Western Europe and were the first civilized people that set foot in the Western Mediterranean. They even arrived to the famous Casiterides Islands, in Cornwall, and had an intense trade with nowdays Wales, most of the tin of antiquity came from there.

As to the fact that they have 5 of this and 3 of that, that's utterly idiotic and deranged. Lebanese are the direct descendants of Phoenicians.
