Nice to see you policing the thread without actually reading previous comments though!
I was not policing, just wondering why Naples. Indeed, I do not read every post, yet

I demand you remove Birmingham from this poll and replace it with Glasgow!

Why? In the op it explicitly says England, not UK

It is an odd thread to begin with. Why those three countries? Why those cities?
I doubt many here have even been to all 6 cities.

Bollox, it does indeed! Odd though in that case. In these types of threads & polls, I would expect them to refer to the UK, not specifically England.

I still think Birmingham should be removed and replaced with....Milton Keynes

Birmingham's only good for a decent curry & a pissup. Too many scallies and an odd accent.

For starters, you can't compare British & French 2nd & 3rd cities to Germany. Britain and France have mega-city capitals and provincial cities. Berlin is much smaller than London and Paris, but other major cities in Germany such as Hamburg, Munich and Frankfurt clearly eclipse Manchester, Birmingham, Lyon and Marseille...if that makes sense?

Milton Keynes, lol, I received a job offer from there years ago. But I declined after doing some research on that place.

And don't make fun of my beloved Birmingham

I would have declined it too. If you hate roundabouts, one trip to Milton Keynes will make you never want to see another roundabout for the rest of your life. Driving there literally makes you dizzy.

Taking the **** out of Birmingham is the norm. The place isn't as bad as the stereotypes make it out to be, but it shouldn't be considered Britain's second city. It's a notch above Milton Keynes though.

Hm, I found Birmingham to be rather appealing, a different league really compared to Milton Keynes. It has a good, positive, active vibe, it's a rather colorful city in terms of population, which I love about it. I guess I would prefer Birmingham to London, even if I had enough money to live in London. The scenery is also more appealing to me, it almost feels like central Europe, maybe because it is relatively far from the ocean (I don't like the ocean).
I guess Birmingham will become even more important to Britain than it is now. It's city center will reflect that as they have approved a whole list of skyscrapers and high-rise buildings.
