Which western European country would be your last pick if had to move to any country in western europe?

Let's pretend language is not an issue and you can magically learn any european language in one sec
Say why you wouldnt want to live in xxx country and why it's your LEAST favourite as a place to live.

Although the intent of this thread is negative, seeing this list reminds me of how nice W. Europe is on the whole.

So while I can't think of a place where I really wouldn't like to live, I put Luxembourg, because it's so small and probably boring (but filthy rich). That said, I've never been there.

You left out various microstates. If you'd listed them, one of them might get my vote.

That's odd, I actually wouldn't mind (trying to) living in all of the listed countries. But then again, I'm a Belgian .

I'd say Portugal. It comes off as being a "weak" country. The Portuguese were once influential, but somewhere along the line they blew it.

I could be wrong, but that's the impression I get.

Portugal is really nice, the Algarve has lovely beaches and it gets decent weather.

I suppose if I had to choose somewhere it would be Norway or Sweden, beautiful countryside but a bit too cold in the winter.

Switzerland. I don't want Swiss nannies telling me I have to behave like the Swiss. Too many rules and regulations. It's the only country in Europe that still has borders. I also don't want to live in a country where everybody HAS to have a gun, but that's just a philosophical preference. And my money in Swiss banks isn't even protected from snooping American busybodies anymore.

I already asked you in another thread, where from do you have all those misconceptions?

What nonsense that everypone in Switzerland HAS to have a gun. It's just absurd to state this as "fact," when it's pure invention.

And most people would give their right arm to able to afford to live in Switzerland. It has the highest standard of living on earth, it's clean, gorgeous and the people leave you alone. And why wouldn't you want borders? They've avoided wars for hundreds of years, more power to them!
