Im spanish and I live in Barcelona (Spain). I think spain and italy are similar countries. The weather and food are excelent. However, i prefer my country. There are a lot kinds of places to visit. Monuments, big cities, beach, mountain, snow, party,... and an important think: its not expensive. People is brilliant and rlly friendship. There are an inconvenient: the polithics and corruption.

Excitement/Things To Do: Spain (it's the party let's go out and fun capital of Europe)

Cities/Towns: Spain (you have really cool cities like Grenada, Seville, Madrid, Barcelona, San Sebastian, Germany has cool cities but some can be a bit sterile and Italy's cities are not as great and too touristy)

Nature scenery: Italy (coastlines, mountains, alps, etc. etc. Spain is too dry and Germany too flat except baveria)

Culture: Spain (it's more modern with picasso, greco, dali, they also have cool medieval history.... Italy is all about the renaissance and thats it, while Germany is kinda meh)

Quality of life: Germany (Spain is clean, organized but to as much as germany, Italy s messy, chaotic)

Music scene: Spain blows the other two

Food/Dining scene: italy, spanish food is very good but its mostly sea food, germany is meh.

Education: Germany

Politics/Government: germany

Economy: germany......

History: Spain

Nightlife: spain blows the other two off the water

Architecture: Spain is funky, while Italy is traditional and Germany is kinda gray

Number of annual foreign visitors: spain is the third most visited country in the world after france and the US.

Sociological/racial/ethnic diversity: Germany, Spain and Italy being the least diverse.

Most peaceful to least peaceful: Germany, spain then italy.

Least corrupted to most corrupted: Germany, Spain, Italy.

Most impressive to least impressive: Germany, Spain, Italy.

How do people in Italy, Spain, and Germany view each other? I think Germans tend to like spain colorful attitude, and italian way of life while italians and spaniards are like family members who go meh with one another, and both see germany like cold and organized.

Which two countries are most similar to each other? Italy and Spain are more similar to one another

What single country is most different from the other 2 countries? germany

What country would you choose to live in and is best for that? spain

What country do you think is best to visit? three are interesting

Chascarrillo

I don't quite understand them.
It's pretty obvious that most have never visited Europe and they keep pontificating like Torquemada himself.
They only regurgitate their media, very sectarian and ill-informed.

If you replaced Spain with Italy, it'd have been something i would have said about my country, maybe we are really more similar than we think, after our country influenced each other for a long time.

@Irene-cd it's outright wrong to assume that architecture in Italian culture and culture is mostly about the Renaissance, i can show you countless examples to show that this isn't true, you can find some great Art Noveau architecture in Italy but it's not in the most usual places, Baroque, Gothic and Romanesque architecture are also quite common, the same goes for revival style (neobaroque, neoclassicism) and there's Rationalism which happened exclusively in Italy
