Yes, but as you said, Spain had, 200 years ago, is Germany the one who has it in the south now. I go every summer to Mallorca, I see the germans there.

Equally easy to think that within the European Union, the bad situation of a country is only his fault, and has nothing to do with the European impositions. I'm not excusing to the Spanish government, but that the current situation is partly the fault of the European Union, especially Germany, is true. In fact, what I have explained, were not Spanish's decisions but of the European Economic Community, a requirement to enter.

I'm not worry, I know it's a bailout, but it was not the spanish government the one who wanted, was forced to accept. Nobody in Spain wants that money.

Spanish and the rest of the southerners have lived way beyond their means for far too long. No way should German and other northern nations should pay more to bail out frivolity of the Spanish banks larely to to over building.

I looked was there in 2001 looking at the construction going on and it was obvious it was going to end in tears.

Germany if one of the few nations in Europe in a position to up hold European values in what looks to be very difficult times in the future. France is another.

As for your Jewish comments Germany is home to the fastest growing Jewish population in Europe. Although France has the largest.

France together with Germany and our northern neighbours in the Low Lands and Scandinavia is where the future of the European ideal to prosper.

Things have not changed since Julius Caesar; Gauls or French = bootlickers. A fat paunch that will be split open by the first rambling panzer, legion or expensive car.

Germany lives beyond their means since 1945. The country should have disappeared from the face of the earth in 1945 and was rescued by the Americans (Marshall Plan). That money went into the pockets of Nazis and collaborators (French) and Spain did not receive a red cent....and they, the Herrenvolk, were the ones that granted credit to Spanish, etc, etc.. without collateral. They presume of having a protestant ethic, but they totally corrupt.

Germany will hold up European values? Ridiculous, pathetic.

The fastest growing Jewish population? Those Jews must be real crazy. Please, if any Jew living in Germany is reading this, leave. They need victims, once they finish with Turks or whoever they will go against you. Please, leave.

In fact housing prices declined a little in Germany while all around bar Switzerland prices headed north. German banks came out very well from the mess though France had issues long back.

And they also had millions of apartments in the DDR (the country they "anchlussed" 20 years ago) that nobody wants to inhabit. And of course, they don't receive 60 million tourists that want to live in that tundra.

Interesting that you, who accused others of Nazi attitude (post 38), are the only one in this thread who is overly nationalistic, intolerant and aggressive.

Edit: And no, idiot isn't aggressive, it's just stating the obvious.

A real prophet. Time will show he was totally right.

In 1944, Henry Morgenthau proposed the Morgenthau Plan for postwar Germany, calling for Germany to be dismembered, partitioned into separate independent states, stripped of all heavy industry and forced to return to a pre-Industrial-Revolution agrarian economy. The Morgenthau plan is thought by a few to have been devised by Morgenthau's deputy, Harry Dexter White. At the Second Quebec Conference on September 16, 1944, Roosevelt and Morgenthau persuaded the initially very reluctant British Prime Minister Winston Churchill to agree to the Morgenthau plan, likely using a $6 billion Lend Lease agreement to do so.[14] Churchill chose however to narrow the scope of Morgenthau's proposal by drafting a new version of the memorandum, which ended up being the version signed by the two statesmen.[14] The gist of the signed memorandum was "This programme for eliminating the war-making industries in the Ruhr and in the Saar is looking forward to converting Germany into a country primarily agricultural and pastoral in its character."
The plan faced opposition in Roosevelt's cabinet, primarily from Henry L. Stimson, and when the plan was leaked to the press, there was public criticism of Roosevelt.[15]

Nazi and Germans messed Europe and they will mess Europe again. They also destroyed the Fascist Mouvement in Italy and their defeat pushed Spanish Falange to the catacombs.

Things were OK for allies (not for "Fascist Spain") after the war because the US was a powerful and generous country that lay the basis of the EEC. Thanks to the US, Spain emerged from the graveyard in 1959 (we don't owe a thing to Europe, in fact, they always said we are not Europe and in fact, we are not).

If the US falls or withdraws from the world, Germans will mess things up again...Why? Because it will be like the fable of the scorpion that asks the frog to cross the river.

Of course, they export "money" even to banks with no collateral (Greece), and trinkets to the EEC because we are forced to buy their crap because the EEC. Hell, I'd rather have a Korean or American car at the prices paid by Koreans and Americans. Not only that, their poor and deficient agricultural produce are also subsidised, so our taxes pay for their bittere spinggurke.

Many posters are influenced by the Anglosaxon media. They haven't changed much in centuries.
PIIGS = Papists
Spain really messed things up sending the Armada during a storm. Had they landed, Cromwell would had not been born.
