That's quite false taking into account that Scandinavian Natives not only have black hair but somewhat slanted eyes and high cheekbones. I have Swedish family and they have high cheekbones, somewhat slanted eyes and brown hair.

They do distinguish between Middle Easteners and Latin Mestizos because they travel a lot, most have been to Latin America. They don't give a crap about race but about education and manners.

I know of an Indian (South Asian) from London. Flew into JFK airport (NYC). And the staff gave him a form in Spanish. Responded in British English: I can't understand this.
Isn't your heritage all European? I would have thought the British would have assumed you were European. You should responded to the racist comment in Spanish. American accent might also work.

Pakis are not Middle Easteners, entirely different. They don't look like Latin mestizos at all.
