It just got cold here in Paris. Noticeably colder, and I'm back to wearing my North Face long jacket. I'd rather be warm than fashionable. Enjoy your vacation out here!

FFS don't call it a fanny pack. A fanny is not a butt, it's female bits! It's called a bum bag here.

Should I just suck it up, be less "fashionable" in my plain coat or bring the pea coat? I've never traveled overseas before. I'm usually all about being fashionable, but I'm really liking the look of this rain coat right about now...

I've just heard people who wear north face stick out like a sore thumb. It's the one thing I wear that has a logo on it, and it's just a nice jacket!

Help
Erm, London is in a different country to France so they will have different clothing styles.

Don't know much about either city's dress styles. But i'd say that for London you'd have to wear something thats fairly fashionable, say a skirt and a shirt or something like that. I really don't know.

No offence, but if i seen someone wearing that i'd never know that they were an american...

No need to be stylish in London. Jeans are common. Just stay away from white athletic shoes combined with a baseball cap.

I'd heard it's best to dress up when going to Paris, but when I went people were dressed casually.

Northface type jackets are common in the UK. Dress for comfort and wear comfy walking shoes.
