to the extent of my view? not many people have it... BUT a lot of houses have some type of nice view becaue Lisbon is very hilly with around 7 hills so there is always a nice view
Except for the touristy stuff there is not much Brazilians could admire here. To them it is more like history Disneyland
I don't think You know Portugal nor Brazil. Not only lots of Brazilians admire the history of Portugal but also the landscapes which are different from Brazil, the culture, the gastronomy and the safety and lack of fear they feel when walking on the street or going to an ATM. Although both countries are very similar (more than Spain for example) for obvious reasons they are quite different and distinct at the same time.

Many Brazilians think the Portuguese are lethargic burros. (I am not saying they are, but that is a common opinion.)
There are some who are interested in Portugal's history and architecture, but admire is not the word I would use.
The more sophisticated a Brazilian is, the more they notice and care about the common history and language. There was an interesting documentary on the role the originally Portuguese baby guitar has played in Brazilian music.
Yes, indeed it is safer here, which I have said myself is a big advantage, and there is relatively little corruption, compared to Brazil.
I think that's true of most places. Even Los Angeles or San Francisco isn't much fun, if you don't have money to enjoy it.
I'm looking forward to seeing Portugal someday myself. I've spent time in Brazil and Macau, and absolutely loved those places. They have a different energy about them, and to go the source, Portugal, would be great. Just love the black and white sidewalks everywhere in Macau and Rio de Jainero, and often heard its exactly like that in Portugal.
The main town square in Setúbal, must have been quite some work, zillions of tiny cobblestones
Yes, the entire ground on that photo is cobblestones, no pavement anywhere I stroll across it almost every day, but seldom do I take notice of it, as usual when one is used to something...
There has been a lot of rain for weeks now, today parts of Lisbon were a bit flooded.
The woman at about 1 min into the video was not really dressed for the occasion And I like the sound of the water hitting the windscreen just seconds later
After all the rain, summer has returned, 90°F today
