No one's taken a poll about how many Americans are planning on leaving for good if the Republicans win the election. Canadian friends of mine living near the border told me that after the 2nd Bush Jr. election, Americans poured across the border in droves, and many stayed. Actually, I'd move TO Russia if there were better health care. (Not that ours is so good )

I did leave when Bush, Jr. won. I put my money where my mouth was; I lived in the US for only seven months of the entire Bush, Jr. presidency. Of course, Bush's winning was only part of the equation, but it was, indeed, a part.

But, but, but, Russia has traffic jams! And pretty new condos! And some big houses! And factories!

I was very, very disappointed to read this is most common among young males. That's not good news at all, for anyone of us. Why can't it be the young, good-looking females?

This poll measures the numbers of two kinds of people:

1. Who want to retire abroad.
2. Who believe that there-somewhere the average person has a big nice house, a nice car, and a few thousand bucks per month as spare cash.

For the cost of it in US, you'll have it no worse here - just stay away from the FE.
