I am going to study abroad in either paris or prague and was looking for some advice from europeans!
Paris:
pros- Sciences Po, France is more interesting historically, dont have to take Czech
Prague:
2,000$ cheaper, can visit places in germany etc, easier school work etc.
Do you guys think that Sciences Po is superior to Charles University? Id like to live in Europe in the future for some time....However, if I go to Charles U. I can save 2,000+dollars to do another summer internship program in Europe.
Normally I would say stay away from the Czech Republic when it comes to studying, but I guess for you it would be much smarter to go to Prague, you'll save lots of money on living costs, you can travel more as it will be much cheaper, and its generally a very good place for a student (I've never been to Paris). I guess the university in France would be much better, but its not worth all the money, and its more than disputable whether France is more interesting historically.....
I'd pick Prague as it is more mysterious. Well, Paris was an experience too as more violence can erupt in Paris than Prague IMO.
I notice a lot of posts similar to that one While Prague is a very worthwhile city, I really don't agree with people mystifying it. Seriously, I originate a mere couple of kilometres from Prague and I really appreciate the city. But it's certainly not some sort of utopia.
I mean, there is a reason why everyone is going to Paris first, and not to Prague. Sure, it's probably easier to go to France. And it would be more of an adventure to go to the Czech Republic. If I had the choice I'd also go to Prague, but I'd guess that for most people who are going to Europe for the first time, Paris is certainly more interesting than Prague.
I'd probably be disillusioned/disenchanted by this experience...
In top 200 by the Times I see Ecoile Normale in France and Humboldt Uni and Free Uni of Berlin, Ludwig Maximilians Uni in Munich, but don't see any Czech universities. And only 1 Russian but not in top 200.

I think it will matter for the futute CV. I don't have any experience here, I'm too lazy for that
