Yep, why not?
After all, my opion is that country music is quite near of Finnish traditional "Iskelma music" (This genre is music what some people here think that it is little bit "Red neck" music" but any way most popular if speaking about domestic music).

If you happens to see Gretchen Wilson, please tell her that she should pack his guitar and travel here, we are waiting for her

And you cant see it in Finland either because Chevrolet is not anymore "big name" here on trucks but Ford and specially Dodge is...

I was in northen Italy (Bolzano area) 20 years ago and saw a local vehicle with a Confederate flag in the rear window.

When I lived in Germany I occasionally saw Confederate flags displayed in windows, on homes, and on cars. It always took me by surprise - especially considering the history of Germany.

Country music isn't known in Ukraine. When there is a television translation of delivery of the next annual American awards in music that surnames of the majority of winners cause one question "Who they are? "
Explanation for it I think simple - in Europe the niche of a country music is occupied by local folk music.

The family I stayed with in Belgium were crazy about American country music although they couldn't understand a word of it. It was pretty much all they played. They had the confederate flag in their front yard. They dragged me to several line dancing events () which were mostly attended by middle-aged people. It seemed to me more of a "cult" thing, all these people at the events knew each other and they all wore similar attire (cowboy boots, fedora hats, jeans). I didn't see anyone my age there, most people were well over 40.

American country music is very popular in Ireland and Australia. They have their own brands but it is influenced by American country.

I've seen it around here and on the Slovenian side of the border. I really don't think they fully realize its history or connotations. They put it in the same vague "Americana/Wild West" category as Navajo blankets, Harley Davidsons, and Clint Eastwood movies.

I should mention that Italians, especially those who grew up just after WWII (Mussolini outlawed American movies, and once he was gone they were absolutely flooded with Western movies from that era, in large part because of occupying US troops), have an intense fascination with the Old West, which they refer to as "Far West." There's a comic book, Tex Willer, that's still quite ubiquitous to this day, and it's the third longest running comic book after Superman and Batman. This is not to mention the Spaghetti Westerns that were being churned out in the 60s.
