Some random songs that are among the most-listened songs here in Italy in this period. In these top songs there are still a lot of songs from Sanremo, but so that we have already posted a lot of them in this thread and in the one about Eurovision I will concentrate on the other songs. The style is not much different, anyway...
^^Haven't heard most of the above. iTunes also shows that aside from Parole in Circolo and Io Non Ho Paura di Te, the others are far back in the charts.
Anyway, i often find myself listening to Boomdabash in this period, they are a group that meshes reggae with hints of pizzica (local Salento folk music) and pop.

We have just looked at different charts. I was referring to the earone charts for last week (so most aired songs at the radio and TV.) Some of these are still recent, so they were quite back on those charts too.
Anyway, as soon as I will manage to use the computer again I will listen to the songs you have posted. I've never heard them before, I'm curious to listen to them!
I usually think Salmo is usually hardcore or horrorcore, genres that can be tiring to listen to after a while but this time due to the work of Travis Barker, Blink 182's drummer, a surprising reggae beat has came out.
He's not as successful abroad as he used because he simply stopped singing in like four languages as he did at the start. Only Spanish and Italian now, Spanish still guarantees him to sell in a market as large as Latin American without much effort. That said, i just listened to Perdono in English and damn, it's awful in a non romance language.
Here he is singing in Spanish. No Escapare Nunca Mas
We should put a reggae beat in our songs more often, it sounds well!
About Tiziano Ferro, I agree with improb. He is still among the most famous singers here in Italy, and he often come out with songs that are often aired at the radio-television and who have good positions in the charts.
Apart from "Perdono", about his first songs I still remember well "Rosso relativo" and "Sere nere". All these songs are from his first two albums (years 2001-2003). Another song I remember well from that period is "Non me lo so spiegare" (na na na... )
About the songs translated in Spanish, to hear his songs in Spanish is really strange for me O.o
But the song that for me sounds the weirdest in Spanish is "fuoco nel fuoco" by Eros Ramazzotti...
