Scandinavia seems to lack KFC and Pizza Hut.

I'm surprised by the high numbers posted here. Very disappointing, and I say that as an American. If I'm travelling to Europe the last thing I want is to be greeted by another freaking McDonalds.

Denmark has got KFC. I think there used to be KFC in Stockholm, too.

Pizza Hut vanished years ago here i Oslo. I guess the local competition was too strong. I think the same goes for Copenhagen.

Maybe you wouldn't go to McDo in Europe, and you'll be right, but I've noticed that a lot of Americans tourist visiting Paris choose to eat at McDonald's rather than in a french café or restaurant. It is a bit sad for them I think.

York has;
5 McDonald's
2 Burger King
1 KFC
3 Subway
5 Starbucks
7 Pizza Hut

So much fast food crap. There's no wonder children in particular, are getting fatter.

Also, wasn't the McDonald's at the London Olympic Park the biggest one in the world?

You can easily avoid fast food restaurants - there are plenty of other restaurants. McDonald's is virtually everywhere nowadays, but nobody is forcing you to eat there.

So in Leeds, there is..

10 McDonald's
10 KFC's
10 Subway's
9 Starbuck's
8 Pizza Hut's
2 Burger King's

PS - Dean, how many Gregg's are there in York? We must be the Gregg's capital here, there are loads and I have no idea why. We have Gregg's on the same street and around the corner from each other. It's just unnecessary.

There's only 3 greggs, but 7 Thomas the bakers. Do you have them in Leeds?

Never heard of them until now. They look nice though. They seem to only be located in smaller towns and cities.
