As a US citizen, I'm just curious about incidents like the following:

Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia:
Sergio Garcia Makes 'Fried Chicken' Joke About Tiger Woods, Then Claims It Wasn't Racist In Apology

Spanish national b-ball team:
Spanish basketball team sparks Olympic row as they are pictured making 'slant-eye' gesture | Mail Online

Racism during soccer matches:
Mario Balotelli racism: AC Milan v Roma suspended because of monkey chants | Mail Online
Kevin Prince Boateng takes stand against racism by walking off in Champions League final - Mirror Online

Yes, there are incidents of open racism here in the US, too. But this seems to occur more frequently in Europe. The golfer example, yes, there is a direct comparison to an incident here in the USA that occurred in the late 90s directed also at Tiger Woods.

But the other stuff, I just cannot imagine that happening here. So what gives? Is there less "stigma' about being racist in public forums?

No Americans just throw black and hispanics in ghettos and leave a hurricane to devestate their homes and take an age to help them!

Yes Europe is very racist and archaic. Speak to anyone who has travelled much.. especially Europeans who have come to America. Much of Europe is gentrified. Much easier to live in a quasi socialistic economy when you can identify with everyone of your countrymen... Funny how things have gotten much worse over there since massive immigration began years ago..

You make quick remarks about American Poor and a catastrophe that killed over a thousand people but America never left them!

To paraphrase an English poster that I've read before on here, typical Scotsman. Ignore the problems in your backyard and instead refer to how at least it's not like in the USA

I am not ignoring "any" problems in my backyard. I answered the OP's question and responded to paull805.. Hey, if you ask me what's going on in much of Europe has already occurred here. The writing is on the wall.

What else?
Are we to eat grits, french toasts and waffles and turn into blimpo behemoths to be PC?
I don't think that Americans have any authority to teach others about race relations, not when the country is speckled with infamous ghettoes full of crazy dudes.
All the PC programs, Reverse Discrimination, Equal Rights, etc, proved to be a failure!!!
You turned turned poor Americans (blacks in 1960) into eternal victims!!!!
So those eternal victims WILL complain and cry for centuries.
Que los compre quien los matriculó.

Ironic, but the responses from whom I guess are the Europeans are basically providing me the answer to my question.
