My vote goes to Greece. Gorgeous little coastal cities all over the islands. Second would be Italy.

(my own country, Belgium, probably has the ugliest coastal line in all of Europe. Walls of ugly sixties-style concrete high-rises everywhere. Still, it feels like home to me ).

Well apparently not when they film the PBS shows that feature Italian coastal towns and villages, because to date I've never noticed a great deal of rubbish on the adjacent shores.

Italy wins if you ask me, although sea water is indeed clearer on our side of the Adriatic. This is all very individual as I find Italian architecture, cuisine, way of life, way they cultivate landscape, etc the best in this world.

Europe is blessed with hundreds of fantastic villages and towns on our coasts, as we can see even England has some

Btw, Exitus AP, I just found out Rick Steves has short videos of Croatia too, namely towns of Split, Hvar, Dubrovnik, Rovinj, Plitvice national park, Korcula.

Not many tourists stop by in my hometown as it is not on the coast, but Steves stopped by in Zagreb too!

So, when can I expect you here?

Many European countries have beautiful coastal villages. France has some beautiful ones and less beautiful, but the strong point is the diversity of these towns/villages.

The most famous ones:

Manche sea/English channel:

Etretat, Normandy

Honfleur, Normandy

Mont Saint-Michel, Normandy/Britanny

Atlantic ocean

Saint Martin en ré, Charentes

Saint jean de Luz, Pays Basque

Mediterranean sea

Collioure, Roussillon

Cassis, Provence

Saint Tropez, Provence

Villefranche sur Mer, Cote d'Azur

Menton, Côte d'Azur

Bonifacio, Corsica

Those Zagreb residents look like an attractive people as well -- I especially like the chick at 3:36.
