Are there any Europeans who dislike living in Europe, and wish they lived in the US or Canada instead?
I have always dreamed of living in the US. Every time I visit that country it's so fascinating, beautiful, great shopping, amazing big cities, entertainment, beaches, hot summers, lots of sunshine, mountains, and let's not forget breath taking California!

Europe is a great place with lots of history and generally high quality of life, but I find it boring. North America is more interesting. I love the wealthier North American lifestyle (Everything is bigger).

This OP sounds oddly familiar maybe it's just me....

You're also not going to get honest answers on this forum. Most of the Europeans on here can be crudely classified as left-wing EU-centric nationalists.

Most of the EU citizens that choose to live in the US are predominantly from the UK, Germany, and Poland. There are more German citizens living in the US than British.

Personally, I really want to leave the country for a couple of years after getting my degree. It's not because I don't like my country, far from it. But I think it's important to experience a different culture over an extended period of time. It's not because I want to improve my lifestyle/quality of life.

Where do I want to move? No idea. As I'm studying law, I'd probably have to pick a place which is home to some international organization or companies taht have their roots in German speaking countries. New York and Hong Kong would be my number one picks, but I could also imagine to work in Nairobi for some years.

I don't dislike living in Europe, i just prefer living in a warmer climate where people seem to smile more and not only live to work.

i dont hate living here, but yes id rather live in USA, Canada or Australia.
its very expensive here, climate in most european countries is crap, houses are a lot smaller and more expensive, unemployment is high etc

there are good thing in Europe too... but to be honest theres millions of peoplke in UK that would happily swap with someone and live in Australia or USA, and pobably lots more outside of UK.

Why is North America the only option?

Me I hate the UK and absolutely revel living in Florida. Although I must say that my country probably has one of the best living standards in Europe. I am in rural Spain right now and it has made me realise how privelaged we are.

I quite like living in the UK, that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to try living somewhere else though, it wouldn't be the US (that's not because I don't think its a great country), given a choice I would love to live somewhere in Kenya for a time. I would really miss Stamford Bridge though :-)
