I am American and I am not in one of the religious groups that promotes circumcision. I personally do not care either way. Circumcision will never completely go away. Sure, you can let them decide at an older age - they will likely choose not to do it because of the pain. Makes sense to me. I would hate to have a son who had foreskin problems, though.
I don't think circumcised genitalia really looks that much better than uncircumcised. Male genitalia is not pretty to me so it hardly makes a difference whether a foreskin is on there or not. I would never reject a man for having a foreskin. That is extremely shallow to me.
American women rejecting guys for being natural, now that is genuinely funny!

As an uncircumcised euro currently living in the US I have had zero problems with it regarding women. A couple have mentioned it but just because they had never seen it before and not in a bad way, just curious, the others didn't even mention it.
It is non-existent among Europeans but common among some immigrant groups from the third world. The only European country in were there was a brief tradition of non-medical circumcision was United Kingdom under the Victorian era. Circumcision is not liked – at least not in Sweden were it was almost banned a few years ago but because of the massive immigration since the 70s (mostly third world immigration) the politician refused to ban it. Among the eight parties in parliament – the “Left Part” (Socialists) and Swedish Democrats (National-Conservative) wants to see a ban. What on in Norway, Finland and Denmark I do not know but I believe there is some opposition. A majority of the Swedes want to see it banned but again – the mainstream politicians refuse because they need the immigrant vote.
I do not want to go into details of my personal life prior to marriage but you should really get out more:>)
Born in US, left "complete" because mum and dad planned some years in Germany.
Stayed half a year back home when I was 10, I was quite a sensation in school shower, most boys had never seen a foreskin before.
After I told them that it's simply complete and they were all born this way, but a piece was cut off, some boys were rather upset, and angry at their parents, because they should have left this decision up to them.
Quite interesting, that such a small thing can be such a big thing.

What are those mysterious "foreskin problens" Americans keep talking about? I've never heard of anyone having "foreskin problems".

Indeed, I have observed a phenomenon to which I refer to as 'foreskin envy'.
