I am traveling through Reykjavik in June, and will have about 7 hours layover. Is that time enough to see a bit of the city? How difficult it is to get from the airport to the city center?
I wonder how much 2 45-minute taxi rides in Iceland would set you back...
No, you wouldn't.
I would say KeflavÃk, if I remember correctly, is at least 45 minutes from the capital. And ReykjavÃk as a city has absolutely nothing to offer anyone, so why bother? I would take the local bus and stop at the nearest store, buy some supplies, and venture the one thing Iceland really has to offer - the unique nature - by foot for a couple of hours.
