Well I don't know what Norweian girls think about "short" men, but the trick is enjoying the stayment there and local life and then who knows what happens :P this is a bit of psychology but if they don't like you because of your height they are not good girls either.
But in Scandianvia there are short people as well, don't worry.

Hola Catbelle.
This thought stroke me when I saw Headhunterene, (the head hunters). It's a great Norwegian movie. In the first scene appears a guy taking a shower, and he is reflecting about how successful he is, how he's got so many talents, a trophy wife, a big expensive house, a Ferrari, a great career ahead, etc, ....and then he said " but there's a problem, I am just 1,70....I guess I inherited bad genes". And there's many other remarks about his size during the movie, he thinks his trophy wife (which is taller than him) will leave him for a taller man.
So I thought, "mmmmm, this blonde blue eyed local Viking guy seems to be traumatized because his size is 1,70, which happens to be mine also ....how things will work for me up there in Oslo with significative less than Viking looks, and speaking broken Norwegian?"
And it was a very intrusive thought...let's see what happens.
PS, okay, I can always dye my hair blonde....but I guess it wont be the same, LOL.
PS2. Head Hunters is a great film, watch it if you have a chance amazing ending.

The main actor, Aksel Hennie, is a bald 5'8" (173 cm) dude and actually had an affair in real life with the blonde 6' (183 cm) actress. Her alpha male boyfriend, 6'3"/193 cm, was naturally pissed and ended the relationship. Ok. Enough gossip
As someone who is even shorter than you and scored nevertheless, I can only tell you that being tall (and for that matter, being rich, as my dentist buddy is finding out) are double-edged swords in dating. You never know if the woman you're with isn't just using you as a trophy or worse. If women have a problem with your height, why would you want to have anything to do with them in the first place? Look for a woman who can see past that.

I love that guy. I've seen him in a few movies, in one he was a tough bodybuilder mafia-type kinda guy who deals with drugs. In other he is a nice guy running a worm's farm in a little town and has an affair with the wife of his best friend. Norwegian movies are great, but very difficult to find, I had to join the Scandinavian Club in Barcelona where they have a stock of movies. It's hard to learn Norwegian, it's not easy to get learning material.

I'm not of very tall stature, but I've been good with the ladies. Because I'm a brilliant cook, even better lover, immensely good looking, rich, humble and honest and I'm a neurosurgeon-fireman. Did I forget something? Oh, right, my hobbies are riding and I hate sports and beer.
Then there's this Norwegian guy, let's call him Björgen. He is 195 cm tall, but besides his biceps he has no good qualities. Is he or me getting some "action"? Did Al Pacino moan "I'm so short, nobody's gonna like me"? No. And if someone who's short, ugly, insecure and stupid, like Sarkozy, got a rather nice wife, you can do it as well.
