Tactically if the Ukrainian junta wanted to attack the NAF could hold them for awhile but in the long run they would be pushed back. The only reason they haven't so far is the fact that Russia probably would wax their arses with a passion if they did.
At the end is my biggest concern. The US commanding the junta to attack just to force Russia to act.
Fighting today north of Debaltsevo. Several high points have been taken by the Ukrop militias. They're heavily armed and supported. NAF staff meeting somewhere and rumor has it this was a recon in force possibly in preparation for an offensive.
Mechanized armies always seek ways to improve their positions and jump off points just before an offensive. The Soviets were really big on it because besides having the manpower to do it to the Germans it also served purposes of deception and forced the opposing forces to show their positions and all that.

If you look at the patterns of artillery activity over the last year it seems to me that the Ukraine junta has enacted the policy he talks about towards the end of the video. The Ukrops have heavy artillery in a line from south of Donetsk to the north of Lugansk. It's kept in prepared firing positions and moved on occasion from point A to point B as should be done so as not to be vulnerable to retaliatory fire or assault by Spec Ops or raiding parties as the border is some what porous.
These artillery units consist of some 45 122mm Acacia SPGs and some 60 towed 122 mm guns. 20 to 30 of the larger 152 mm Hyacinth both towed and self propelled are there also. It seems to me that anywhere along that line those guns will be from 4 to 7 miles behind the front line shooting randomly at villages and the suburbs north and west of Lugansk and west and southwest ofDonetsk. These places are largely uninhabitable.

It is. They are clearly targeting civilians, that "prevent Ukraine from joining European paradise," and they are ready to step over the dead bodies of women in children on the way to that paradise. At that they will deny that they are cold-blooded killers; they'll say that they leave these people with choice to move to Russia. They are true democrats you see - they are the only ones that know what path Ukraine should choose; the rest should get out or to be exterminated.
