It's amazing to hear this statement considering that statistics on the native languages of the Russian citizens is readily available for each Russian region. Thorough assimilation is a norm in Russia (that includes indigenous Russian dialects and customs, btw). If you'll keep making silly claims like this, I'll look up Russian statistics for you.

Also, the history of the rise of Moscow principality is readily available for the curious minds. Any person without preconceived ideas about Mother Russia' greatness and cosmic mission would find it to be bloody and barbarous.

History of Kievan Rus' has very distant relation to the rise of Moscow principality. There was no any damn Russia around the time Ruricovichi captured Kiev. Rus' is most likely a name for the Skandinavian raiders who terrorized Slavic Tribes living along Dnieper river.

You just recited official Russian propaganda line tracing Russian state to the Kiev Rus', history be damned, and thus declaring all other Slavic civilizations to be "spoiled" not as "pure" as the one represented by the Russian state.

Dear, care to cite Russian statistics on native language use? Russia is a thoroughly assimilated country, statistics is easily obtainable, and yet you keep on making this nonsense claim. Forget about books, Russian government collects data on language use.
