Re: 'not looking west'

Ukraine right now looks like it has one hand and one leg tied up because of Russian interference. Nothing will happen unless it is eased. Perpetual war will be the fact.

Distortions, lies and omissions: The New York Times won’t tell you the real story behind Ukraine, Russian economic collapse

International papers will cover America's role in the world honestly. Only our best paper willingly blinds itself

Don't tell me about the "happy childhoods" of the children of Donbass, Selena. What do you know about the childhoods of the disabled children who lived in the Torez Orphanage of Donetsk Oblast, when Putin's terrorists overran the area? Do you know how the children were evacuated, and what conditions are like where they are presently living, in another now extremely overcrowded and underfunded orphanage?

Are you aware that these fragile, severely delayed and physically disabled children had to sleep on the cold floor until American NGOs provided mattresses and beds for them, purchased with donations from caring civilian American individuals?

And before you point the finger at Ukraine, whose orphanage Torez was, take a look at the hundreds of similar mental institutions and orphanages in Russia, where children die in great numbers of neglect, starvation, and preventable illness each winter.

Putin had innocent blood on his hands long before he masterminded and funded the invasion of Ukraine. Now his hands are even bloodier.

Interesting, how much times more I, inhabitant of Donetsk must repeat all people which even doesn't know where Donetsk is and never been here that here is no russian army and never were? All blood is on hands of Petr Poroshenko and another persons responcible for Euromydan. We say "no matter how many times you say" paste "in the mouth will not become sweeter". Similarly I can tell you, no matter how much times you'll say" it's Putin's fault" Russian army won't come here in order to bombard disagree with Kiev policy cities

And that's good. Because it's the criminal leg that's "tied up."
A leg that's trying to stomp on everyone in Ukraine who happened to disagree with the actions of Maidan.

I don't understand why do you keep on lamenting about some "severely delayed" Russian children somewhere in Donbass. Did the US government care about what was happening to Russian children ( severely delayed including) back in the nineties, while pushing for criminal economic reforms? I think not, and everything what's happening to "severely delayed" children in Donbass and elsewhere in Russia today is the direct result of those events.
So enough of hypocrisy already.
Suffering in that part of the world matters only when it brings political dividends to the US I've noticed.

It's called an attempt to rewrite history so that it would better suit current political agenda.
