True, the rest of the world would watch and make statements of concern if Putin occupied Helsinki. Maybe place sanctions on some old guys who never leave Russia anyway.
Of course he said that Crimea is not Russia. What could he say?
Right, Crimea is not Russia, but Falkland is British and Guadeloupe is French. This is how the west interprets things. If we grabbed some land 2000 miles from our country early enough, then it is ours!
I have not heard about these camps in Russia. It is interesting. We must have photo and video materials for conclusions. I do not think that they will throw up their hands in greeting there and be aggressive. And Russian camp for children aged 14-18 (information from your article). They are grown-up children.

Using the Falkland Islands as an example is a bad idea. Unlike with Crimea, where it’s dependance is subjective, the Falklands are entirely British. The islands were first discovered by the Dutch, then the Spanish showed up for a short amount of time and finally the British were the first to settle the island. Prior to the English, the islands were entirely uninhabited, which means that even here that differs greatly from the American mainland.

yeah I guess you have a point. I just wanted you to be aware of nationalist policies that are being instilled in Russia as well, though not as extreme as in Ukraine. However I'm a bit worried that these nationalists are getting out of control and it might be to late to reign them back in. I wouldn't be surprised if a new monarchy would be installed in Russia with the way things are going these days.
This rise in Orthodox extremist have to do with a law passed back in 2013.
The bill was accepted 11 June 2013.[149][150] According to art.148 of Russian Criminal Code 1 it is declared a federal crime to conduct "public actions, clearly defying the society and committed with express purpose of insulting religious beliefs". Part 2 of the same article places a stricter punishments for the aforementioned actions, when coupled with desecration of holy symbols and (or) religious texts
