It is not true. There was no any advantages of both languages diring the Yanukovich presidency. People freely could speak whatever language they wanted to speak without any limits. And please don't tell me your crazy Irina Farion' crap.

The Russian MPs have also said that if Crimeans prefer to rejoin Russia, the decision will be rubberstamped by Moscow.

Looks like Crimea might go back to Russia

Nowadays, both the US and the EU don't want to see Russia as a powerful strong country. That's why, they are using they old method of accussing of different violations against Putin. They say that Russia is oppressive country, that Putin is a dictator etc., but he is just doing his country stronger. The more he is successful in his work, the more he is bad.
Agree.

Why do people naively think the US care about whether a country is a dictatorship or democracy? It doesn't.

The US doesn't hate dictatorships. It only hates dictatorships that don't listen to Washington and refuse to be its pet country. As you can see, Saodi Arabian and Qatar are dictatorships too, do we see Washington ever accuse them of anything?

Qatar has been ruled by one family monarchy for over 150 years;
Saudi Arabia has been under the current royal family for hundrends of years;
Bahrain has been ruled by the Al Khalifa royal monarchy since 1820;

All of them have ****ty human rights records, yet the US leave them alone, and even supply weapon for these governments.

It doesn't take an IQ of 80 to understand what the US really cares about.

THERE IS NO NWO, PROXY WAR, CIA FUNDED UPRISING, EU JEW MAFIA or whatever. There's Ukrainian people fighting for Ukraine and to get this corrupt oligarch mafia government to quit. THERE IS NO CONSPIRACY! 90 people have died because they want a new direction for their country and a different future.

Sorry that Iam so stupid. But I am sure you have no clue about what's going on in Ukraine for real.
Yes, Ukrainian people tired of this corruprion and their poverty. But the "revolution" was made by neo-nazis thugs. They are armed, well organized, professional commandos and are the real power in Ukraine now. They are both the Ukrainian army and police. Peaceful people fear to talk to them. They can stop any passerby and compel him to sing the Ukrainian Hymn or speak fluently Ukrainian. The very first Law of the new goverment was the russian language ban. Is this law against oligarchs?
About "conspiracy". I must say you are naive. I personally spoke over the phone with a relative in Ukraine and he told me that some thugs offered 100$ for each molotov cocktail thrown at the police. Some men were frightened and were beaten right on the streets for the refusal. I have read a lot of proofs about payments to some protestants. It was spent 5 billions US dollars on the revolution. Albeit, the euronews won't tell it.

Recentlly you wrote - some said Putin secretly sent snipers to shoot at protesters.
If you believe there is no conspiracy then why did you said that?

I am sure it won't split. Now Julia will be elected president, Ukraine will sign that association treaty with the EU, but in reality it will continue to struggle economically and balance between the EU and Russia. Just the rhetorics will somewhat change. Crimea will gradually calm down.
