The EU recently tried to sanction Israel for settlements. And yet there doesn't seem to be all that much outrage when palestinians launch rockets or when they used to launch suicide bombings. So why is Europe so one sided against Israel?

The Palestinians are freedom fighters, Israel is a terrorist nation.

The real reason is that there's no constant pro Israel propaganda in the media. And the European countries don't have a special relationship with Israel like the US does. For us Israel and Palestine is just another never ending conflict.

The Palestinians are freedom fighters indeed.

Israel just wants to gain all the glory and power.

To add I am happy for Palestinians to fight for why they believe also.

The Israeli government is doing some terrible things and so do some members within the Palestinian community. Sanctions on both seem to be fair. Why should we just punish the Palestinians?

Actually the other two posters were pretty openly saying that most europeans support suicide bombings and rocket attacks in Israel.

I wouldn't say that people here support those attacks, but most don't wonder that they are happening considering the oppression the Palestinians experienced over the last decades and the number of guns/explosives available in the region.

Absolutely not. Both Israel and Palestine have the right to exist.

I don't support violence, but understand why some Palestinians use it. A friend of mine who has been to Gaza said it was a real eye-opener. There's a massive humanitarian crisis going on there.

And mine is one of the biggest Palestine's supporters. Even the politics are very different. Same for Kosovo.
