You should really hope that Israel doesn't get provoked any further. They have just about had enough of Iran and his lapdog Assad backing Hezbollah and Hamas attacks across their country. It's a shame Assad junior never learned anything from his father, who lost the Golan Heights. Ahmadinejad did a good job of really highlighting Iran's aggressive attitude towards Israel, with threats to "wipe it off the map".
The day Israel decides to strike will be the end of the regimes in Syria and Iran.
There won't be any peace in the Middle East until Israel is safe from foreign attacks.

Israel shot down Iran's drone unprovoked. Now they are the bad guys somehow.
If Iran had dine this to Israel they, along with the rest of my family, would be nuked.

There are no good/bad guys. That's childish talk. Nevertheless Israel has been attacked so many times by it's neighbors who want to eliminate it. The whole Palestinian identity is built around that principle.
I'm not talking about nukes. Throughout history, Jews and Persians got along really well. Iran should return to it's pre-Islamic days. The current regime is an insult to Persian history. Cyrus must be rolling in his grave. Did you know, that if it weren't for the Iran-Iraq war in the 80's, Khomeini would have destroyed Persepolis?

Israel has had relatively good relations with Assad, one of the factors regarding Israeli's rather cautious stance on any regime change, especially considering the parties battling out for it.
Israel does not have even close to the means to end any regime in Syria, let alone Iran.

Did you know that if it weren't for the Iran-Iraq war, Iran wouldn't of had an Islamic regime anymore.
Revolutionary fervor was high at the ayatollahs were losing popularity fast, people wanted a socialist regime.
Then Saddam and Reagan attacked which consolidated power around the government (just like the US wanted).

Yes, the war helped the Ayatollah tremendously. Still, I'm doubtful that he would have been overthrown otherwise. Like I said in another thread, much of the Islamic Republic's popularity comes from the fact that it was the first regime to give Persians a chance to chart their own course in a long time, rather than be beholden to foreign powers.

Israel has tremendous power. It's one of the few nuclear powers in the world. Israel wants to contain Iran and it's proxies, given that their goal is to eradicate their country.
I consider Israel's safety to be of paramount importance. In fact, I would say, it's the only nation worth funding in the ME.
