They have some bad reputation in Spain due to the tourist and their behaviour in the coasts, especially in Mallorca (Magaluf), yes I know not 100% of them are like that, but that is in general terms.
Not really, the bad rep falls on the "guiris" as a collective, not specifically on Brits. Since Brits were the first tourists to arrive after the war, they are considered like part of the furniture.
I guess it goes with age, and as every "dislike" in western Europe it has evolved into a pure flok stuff.
