'Beethoven tells you what it's like to be Beethoven and Mozart tells you what it's like to be human. Bach tells you what it's like to be the universe....and erasure tells us what it is like to be Russian!'....
All the music here shows the heart of all the nationalities, Lithuanians, Poles, Estonians, Latvians!

Travric, as the saying goes - "When the guns talk, the muses fall silent."
Russia undeniably has both. Her guns can be ugly and brutal, or noble and justifiable, but her muses are always top notch. Unfortunately, it seems that you can't have one without the other; it took me long time to realize it. I understood Russia much better looking at her in retrospective. I didn't have good understanding at all, while living in the country.

You know it is apparent that we have our differences in some areas of the conflict there in the Ukraine. But of course I respect your views. From the foregoing it looks like we both understand that all is not doom and gloom when we emphasize the things that bring everyone together to live our lives with our family and friends. Music is one of those things. I know Russians love it deeply. Music goes to the soul all over the world. Let it play and play!
are Alina Orlova or Stano or Inga Jankauskaitė or Jeronimas Milius Popular Lithuanian singers ??
someone mentioned them to me online
I'd say all are underground singers. Orlova sings poetic songs, Stano pop (not that good though), Jankauskaitė is an actress, but she sings russian romances as a hobby and Milius is a rock/metal artist, he also performs in opera.
The most known that attract biggest crowds was/are "Foje", Sel, Mamontovas, Mikutavičius.
