Seriously a thread on Culture has degraded to a discussion about hair color.

No he isn't. Don't fool yourself like that. Daniel Radcliffe is not even of purely British Isles ancestry. He has Polish and Russian Jewish ancestry as well as Northern Irish ancestry. He most likely have his "piercing" blue eyes and pale skin from his Irish side. I know that at least.

Since when is Radcliffe darker than Germans?

Here he is.

Is he darker than

Volker Pisper (North-Rhine Westphalia), a true Saxon!

Stephanie Stumph(Saxony), a true Saxon!

Hans Muller

Jurgen Kohler (Palatinate)

Kevin Volland (Bavaria)

Matt Hummels (Westphalia), another Saxon.

Wrong! He doesn't look typically Italian!

How about this German then?

are those people considerably darker than adult scandinavians? I dont think so, and those are random NW germans with some foreigners thrown in between. The facial types are very germanic too, I wouldnt say they are any less germanic than Dutch or Danish/Jutlandic people. Its obvioius that Norwegians and more so Swedes (talking here about those who hail mostly in northern/central areas of those countries) have more baltic influences and look less ultra germanic. I mean with baltic, rounder faces, smaller noses, etc. The typical germanic looks is way more common in NEtherlands, Germany and Even Austria than it is in Scandinavian anyways..

Brown hair is very well represented in the German population, is much more common than blonde. These are Germans from Stuttgart. One of them is not European of course. I'd say only one is blonde here.

Did I ever say that ?

What does "typical Italian" mean ?

Do you sincerely think all Italians look the same ?

And do you think noone in Italy looks like Daniel Radcliffe ? Italy is a very varied country when it comes to looks.

Do you even read other peoples' posts ?

Why are we talking about hair colour anyway ?

to saxonwold.. those are ethnic germans from the south, they all must be bleaching their hair no?
