Uh, yes - my post is mostly based on Leeds, as this is where I live and spend most of my time, but I've been to nearly every city in the UK - to state that alcohol and knife crime is rampant is a gross exaggeration of the truth (alcoholism and knife crime are present). I've been on nights out in central London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Brighton, and many more - came back unscathed, without getting stabbed, always.

I wear sweats at home and out in public, they are pretty comfortable.

How do you live like that? thinking you have to change your look when you step outside your door?

seems strange to me.

Well, yeah, duh! I can walk with sweatpants to the corner shop, but definitely not longer than that. Would never dream of hitting downtown for any reason in sweats.

it is not an exgeration

britain is by far the most violent country in Europe (I dont count russia as europe), with the highest rates of alcoholism, gangs and knife violence!

SIX stabbed to death in just 24 hours as Blade Britain's knife epidemic spirals out of control | Daily Mail Online
6 stabbed to death in just one night in a mid size UK town!

knife crime epidemic

1,000 knife crime victims in London each month, shocking new figures show - Crime - News - London Evening Standard
1 thousand people stabbed monthly in london alone!!!

knives are to british like guns are to americans!!!

I think it's funny how some brits think places with very low crime rates like prague or budapest are to be avoided, but a lot of their cities with serious crime issues like bradford, newcastle, east london (where muslims tell you you're in Islamic territory) and so on are somehow fine!

Polish people always have a cold look on them so they don't really help. They never smile.
