No, it doesn't. Brunette can be borderline dark blond. Not all "black" hair is a variety of dark brunette.

Now this is getting confusing. I thought 'brunette' was brown hair, and black hair was separate to this. The 'brun' part of brunette means brown, doesn't it?
Cute rabbit! But it looks like it has black fur. Now I'm wondering which is cuter: the kittens or the rabbit? (Never mind about women's hair). I think I'll go with the rabbit, as I have pet rabbits of my own.
My reply featured a bunny. I've had a black and a white one. Both were awesome.
No, but seriously, while there's a lot of amazing blondes out there, I prefer brunettes. Eyes don't matter, can be blue or brown, but dark brown hair is preferrable. I really don't like "type I" skin either, that always burns and rarely tans. A slight tan is sexy.
I am surprised to see that you are first person to answer my question. Great! All I was asking was what do people prefer, blondes/brunettes/redheads, however, I had kittens for an answer. I sure know that my question was not rocket science for anyone.
I can't say I give a **** about other women's hair colour. But on a man, blond or brown is nice.

I've already mentioned before that these seems to be rather outdated terms, since I saw younger Russians questioned them, but yes - I've overheard my grandparents/parents using them numerous times.
Chatain for light-brown hair and brunette for dark-brown hair. Interestingly enough, if ppl wanted to specify black hair under "brunette" umbrella, they'd use an adjective... hmm.. how should I translate it - "blazing/raving (?) brunette." This would imply black hair.

Oh right. A 'raving brunette' - that sounds good. Reminds me of those raves from the early 90s.
We had at home, and one with my ex girlfriend. Bunnies are great, I definitely gonna get me one at some point. (Bunnies are social animals and you shouldn't leave them alone when you go drinking for the whole weekend.)
What's the surprise? The russophobe next door has a heart?
