All above +25c is too hot

+17c is ideal to me at summer

+4c - 0c is all rubbish, I hate wet dark weathers without snow, smelling, rotten leafs etc.

-7c -17c is ideal to me at winter

I also enjoy couple of weeks at -25c - 30c then it annoys me

under -35c it starts to be annoying right away, too much time for clothing, too less time outdoors.

Long time of latest -40c but I can take that till -42c.. then I get real pissed off

It is a mood thing too

Cold is when I wear too less clothes for the weather... Otherwise cold is around -30 c , when it starts to pinch my cheeks. If storm windy then earlier, maybe -28c.

I used to wear only a t-shirt during winters in NL when i was a kid but because of my time in Florida and Thailand plus my weight loss of 10 kg i can't handle the cold anymore.
Anything below 16 degrees and i need to wear a coat.
No wonder you hate Dutch weather so much

Based on MAXIMUM temperatures..

In summer...

Hot: 28C+
Very warm: 25-28C
Warm: 20-25C
Mild: 17-19C

Below 17C would be cold.

In winter...

Very mild: 15C+
Mild: 10-15C
Cool: 5-9C
Cold: 0-5C
Very cold: below 0C

fahrenheit makes it sound like you either live on the surface of the sun or else in a fridge

its like when americans describe their weight as 240 pounds , makes them sound like they weigh the same as a small car

I was only joking but its just strange when people use celcius when talking about temperatures.

30 degrees C is a low number but its actually pretty hot.
When its 30 degrees F in America you need a jacket or a nice sweatshirt to be comfortable.

I prefer good summer days to be around 25C. Thankfully we don't get many days over 30C. I've always felt hot weather is overrated. I prefer winter days to be around -5C to -10C plus snow of course. I consider very cold to be -15C or colder.
