Mongolia is at quite high latitude it reaches 50 n.

Are Mongolians very light skinned? Or Mongolia has high solar irradiance (mountainous)

Your theory is simply false. Give it up already.

But yes, Mongolia is very sunny and very cold.

I live and grew up in Southern California by the 33rd parallel north. See: 33rd parallel north - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This will tell you what is located at the 33rd parallel north.

??no way. The Less solar irradiance the fairer you are.. Due to climatic pressure.

Annual Solar Irradiance
According to this map, Mongolia receives very excessive solar irradiation as much as like Sahara and Sonoran Desert.

My question is does such a warm clime affects your skin color even they support cloudy/overcast conditions throughout the whole year?
Otherwise, I want to know if at least the cool temperature(colder the better) is advanced to become paler.
I'm very curious about how central Chinese people in those pink/purple zone has fair skin compared to let's say Irish people.

Yes, I am aware that Southern California lies south of anywhere in Europe and more aligns with the northern tip of Africa. I wasn't sure if the original topic was to see how far south or north we were in general. I guess I should have guessed you wanted to know how far north or south we live in relation to Europe since this is the Europe forum . I just just sharing where I live.

Chineses in general are very light skinned (skin type III) compared to their latitude.
They should be like Pakistanis and Arabs..but their skin is lighter. It is due to their anomalous solar irradiance for that latitude

Btw I ve seen some Chinese with pinkish skin, and fine hair. (They were asiatic, without doubt..: eyes and face tipe).. Where did they come from?? This is a mystery

Yep. Grew up there as well. No wonder it's so bloody hot, being on par with North Africa
