The United States is basically a "swin or sink" society. In order to live a decent life you have to work. Living on welfare is rarely an option. The country also offer a variety of low-skilled positions, not only dead-end cleaning jobs. The US also got a strong entrepreneurial tradition.
Many European countries are welfare states. They offer quite generous benefits for all, including immigrants. Many immigrants (and also several ethnic citizens) would rather collect welfare than to work. That is a huge problem here in Norway. Somalis, for instance, seems to be well-integrated into American society. The situation is the opposite in Norway. 36,000 Somalis live here. Each person will actually cost the Norwegian society $1.2 mill during their lifespan. Why? Most a poorly educated, many are illiterate, so they are only offered boring cleaning jobs, driving a taxi, etc. Hence, the motivation for working is little, especially when you can collect welfare with such ease. I hope that future generations of Somalis will be better integrated. I think the main obstacles might be the dependence on welfare and the importance of religion (suppressing women, extremism, etc).
Yet, there have been much more ethnic riots in the US, African-Americans (who are in the US even before their foundation) have an higher numbers of years of jail term and get condemned much more easily, ghettos of Black people and other immigrants are a reality (although immigrants are starting to get confined to suburbs in Europe as well).
Plus, in the US illegals are expelled, in Italy, for example, they are not.
In the US there's wall at the border with Mexico, in Italy all boats are rescued even in Libyan territorial waters.
In the US integration is easier because the US are a country of immigrants, nothing else.
Europe is NOT and has never been a continent of immigrants and why should we become one?
Yes its true incarceration rates are higher.
However blacks like myself have the highest standard of living than any country in theworld.
Blacks have been senators. and governors dating back to just after the civil war.
In Italy the Africans are treatd as scourge often involved in criminal behavior. They are regulated to the fringes of society.
The poverty rate in the US among people of African decent is around 24% but the media would have you believe the majority are poor and come from ghettos.
Europe is a finite land.
Europe has ultra millennials tradition.
Europe was never a place for a continue influx of immigration.
But the world is turning Europe into USA; only Europe is smaller; only the mindset of native europeans is that of ethnic-nation with traditions that vary region to region.
Europe is a plase to close family and friend ties..I culture.. You are bringing us to a cultural suicide.. And where there is no culture, ties, history, roots, a stable place..the people commit suicide..see the suicide tax in Dubai..where all is plastic-false-new without common culture; common taditions, common sense of communality.
Europe is like japan. An overpopulated area.

Many of us..are also abituated to the familir faces of our ethnic native variations..with features common by Kms.
It s a really big revolution what is happening to Europe..so don t cry for racism..don t expect that all the people are happy with this massive immigration.
Cosmopolitanism..for now is only restrict to usa, Australia, Canada, many Latin American states, Dubai, Hong Kong?, Singapore, Macao?. Stop
Europe since only 50 years ago was monoethnic with strong regional micro variations too.
So us that are native born here are really rooted to our land..to our tradition, to our ethnicity; it s natural in our brain..the inn natural thing is cosmopolitansim..because it s being forced very quickly.
Are you aware of what Europeans put the world through colonialism? If so then this would lead any sane person to think that what's currently happening in Europe is linked to the past. The only reason why Western Europe is so wealthy is because of the many conquests around the world and indoctrination of the world by European Colonists.
It angers me how much people don't know about history because again, history unlocks the questions of the present.
