Hi everyone! I just want open a new conversation talking about companies that destroy our planet.

I live in Majorca, and wants to show you what is doin an important French company, for example.

The real estate company Unibail Rodamco, plans to build in the Spanish Island of Mallorca a shopping center in Ses Fontanelles, a site that currently hosts a Natural Park as well as a protected environmental area, which means that one of the last free natural sites of Palma city will be destroyed before the powerless faces of the citizens, the complicity of the political party that governs the Island and the silence of the Media.

That would be unthinkable acting so in countries like France, UK or Germany for the existing high sensitive with the environment, and however UR does it in Spain.

Ses Fontanelles is the biggest non-urbanized most ground in Palma Bay, with 32,5 hectares. Not only is it an area with a vast vegetation but it also hosts animal species threatened with extinction.

It is noteworthy that a company as Unibail Rodamo undertakes this project, given that on its website they declare textually "being committed withe the sustainable development, respecting all the relevant social and environmental legislation, in order to get a growth economically efficient, social and environmentally sustainable in all its activities and projects".

Destoying the only still existing lagoon of Palma does not seem to fulfill this purpose :mad

That was the place before Unibail Rodamco
