Rugby is the sport to watch in Europe the next decade. With massive attendances already in UK, France and Italy and rapidly gaining popularity in other countries too. And the World Cup 2015 in England coming soon. Rugby is gaining popularity because it isn't spoilt with bad player habits and too much money, like in the Champions League. And with modern and fair refereeing and videorefs. I really love it and always watch the international matches in Sixnations, Trinations, Autum Internationals and the World Cup.

Rugby is popular all over the UK and Ireland, especially Wales where it is actually ahead of football in popularity.

Any sport that gets so many players each chasing the same ball is bound to breed aggression and bad manners. It's barbaric or medieval: and, neither for now nor the future. There must be a better game out there: but that won't be anything as middle-class or soppy as lawn-tennis

Maybe you could invent one OldChina? How about a game involving pulling sticks out of your arse? Although you might struggle with that one.

And here's to kicking you! Being rude is easy. Butt, I am being serious. When football comes to be consigned to the rubbish-bin of History, which may happen quite suddenly and at any time now, the likes of you will probably be the first to say that you did not like it anyway. It's long-overdue, you know

And it wouldn't be sailing, either. The more I think of it, the more I believe that cricket is the answer. Of course, it would have to be played with a softer or lighter ball, which would obviate the need for that clumsy protective clothing and embolden the fielders to dash for the corm. And baseball is okay

Rugby isn't massive yet in Italy unfortunately, but it's currently the fastest growing sport, i don't think it will ever be the most popular sport, but with time it could slowly become a strong contender like it is in France

The problem with it is that if it gets more popular, it will follow in football's footsteps, the corruption in football is simply due to the amount of money at stake

I don't think so. Rugby is big in UK & Ireland, France and maybe Italy and... well, there they are.

The rest of Europe couldn't care less about rugby, like Germany, Scandinavia, Poland, Iberia and the Balkans.
