Thus, we Spaniard people dislike spicy food so much.

All joking put aside, do not ever eat Mexican food in Spain or Europe. It is atrocious and scary. So disrespectful what they present as Mexican food.

I like Spanish charcuterie, coffee, cheeses, wine, and of course tapas. These are all amazing.

I found the food to be pretty bland though. I was really happy running into Shwarma places everywhere, yum!

there are some good authentic Mexican restaurants in spain (especially in big cities like madrid, seville...) but there is also a lot of rubbish mexican restaurants. There are not so many tex-mex restaurants that it is what most americans are actually getting when they think they are getting mexican food.

spanish people don't like spicy food too much, so mexican restaurants adapt their food to local taste (as chinese restaurants do as well, for example)

Yes I understand the adaptation part, that is understandable. But Mexican food is very similar to Italian food in that it uses very basic ingredients and the key is freshness. Staple foods are corn, squash, tomatoes, onions, chiles, avocados, meat. Even tortillas are easy to make, you just need to learn. The Mexican food I had there was really weird. Lol

Maybe things have changed(hopefully) since I lived there, which was more than 10 years ago now. Maybe they now have more authentic places.

I forgot about hot chocolate and churros! Another Spanish favorite.

Didn't know it was originated from Spain, I really love eating churros while I'm at the shopping mall or theme park

Some of my Spanish favorites are:

Pulpo a la gallega (Galician octopus)
Arroz negro (rice with squid or cuttlefish ink)
Tortilla espan~ola
Croquetas de jamo'n
Cocido madrilen~o
Empanadas (esp. empanada gallega)
Conejo al ajillo (Garlic rabbit)
Boquerones en vinagre
Bocadillo de calamares
Ajo blanco (white gazpacho)
Salmorejo
Patatas bravas
Albo'ndigas

Of course, I love the different sausages, hams, olives, bread, wine, cheese. My favorite Spanish cheese is Cabrales, but it's hard to find it where I live now.

I love gazpacho, the cheese, the hot chocolate, and the wine. Excellent.

As for the rest, not for me.
