I think it unlikely the average American from say the midwest cares much about Sweden, let alone even knows where it is, so they were probably raised by Swedes.

It is not ambiguous at all. If you read the threads you posted, you would see the authors say they are not Swedish later on in the respective threads.
'Socialist Sweden' is and has always been an integrated part of the American presidential election used as an scare example by the Republican Party, so yeah, Americans probably do know where Sweden is, or at least they are familiar with it.
Also, the author of this particular thread is from the U.S. as far as I can ascertain, and multiple posters from the threads you linked are American. Americans care, evidently.

Ok, you're probably quite familiar with Sweden, right? This poster nograviti claimed that he experienced a teacher in Sweden who called a black pupil a monkey. I know Sweden very well, and this would create such a massive sh*tstorm of galactic proportions so it would fly also to Finland and Denmark. It would mean the end of the career of that teacher. Don't you agree? Not to mention legal actions. 90% of Swedish reporters would create a lynch mob and would do anything to get this teacher, just like the tabloids hunt down SD commentators online.
But this nograviti, who claims that he's lived in Sweden just say it was another day at the office. No biggie. Do you buy it? I don't. Do you buy it that nograviti, being black would be a target for xenophobic attacks like "you're adept for a black person" at the office, which is an unfathomable comment and I've never heard anything like that. That is probably a legit reason for a severe warning or even contract termination in Sweden. And hopefully it is in Denmark too. It is in Finland. Anyway, it would create another sh*tstorm, and 90% of the media would absolutely destroy this person in question.
This is the truth. The Nordic Countries with Britain and the NL and Germany are the most unaccepting of racism in anywhere in Europe. The things the chavs shout like "goo hoome fooking Pakiii" over there, you don't hear it here. It is completely unacceptable. I have witnessed maybe 3-4 racist attacks in my life, and they all have been silenced by vigilantes or common condemnation. Some people might be reluctant to act, but there's always someone. Like me.

I find it hard to believe Germany is on par with Britain and the Netherlands in terms of race relations.
