Eastern Europe practically invented anti-Semitism. In contemporary times, it's not known for getting violent, though, AFAIK. But soccer fans tend to be that way, no matter who the opposition is. Emotions run high at soccer matches.

Yeah, right. I want to remind you that ancestors of the Eastern European Jews escaped Western Europe to save their lives way before Nazi' final solution. Many Jews forget that since life is more prosperous and safe in the Western Europe in 2015.
Influx of Jews back in the days added more complexity and ethnic tensions in the Eastern European powder boxes. Most importantly, E. European rulers frequently ruled over ethnicities they were not a part of. Frequently they employed more literate Jews for administration, tax collection, etc.. So basically some Jews served the oppressors, while bulk of the Jews lived among the oppressed, on the land taken from the oppressed. It was not a love formula, things got nasty, and yet that was better life than Jews had in the Western Europe back then.

Incorrect. Antisemitism, or better said anti-Jewishism existed forever. Egyptians and Greeks were anti-Jewish, Romans were deeply anti-Jewish (they tried to exterminate the Jews and destroyed to the ground the Jerusalem), early Christians were anti-Jewish, Muslims were deeply anti-Jewish (they invented the yellow badge as a mean of religious segregation etc), Western medieval Europe was anti-Jewish (pogroms and expulsions etc) etc.
As for what is happening in Eastern Europe, it has to deal with conspiracy theory and other stupid things. Yet, you don't see well structurated neonazi groups like in Western Europe or US. And the worst case is Hungary, which is Central Europe.
