Stereotypes greatly affect relationships of the countries and are very important.
They are the result of history cinema wars etc
The imagen of the english in the film is the that are always they are gentlemen but today however followers of football teams to see as there is energumens.
There are in each country two kinds gentlemen and common people.
British politicians are smart and always show the best side in the history and in the films.-

In the of spaniards continue today of one stereotype to can to see legend black of negative for example in Operas as D.Carlo,The Duke of Alba in the films of
Hooliwood and english movies the spaniards we are always very bad and cruel. Is the fruit of 300 years of struggle with french and english empires.
And to worsen the spanish politicians to attract tourist invented the slogan Fiesta and Siesta stereotype of Spain today.
Is it possible that spaniards conquered in the history half the world with as Fiesta and Siesta ja ja.-
In the stereotypes there is much paradox.
The italians have two stereotypes chaos and dirt against art and beauty .
German paradox of brutalityc and robotic discipline against musical intellectual genius.
The french courtesy and bad education at the same time I think there are in the stereotypes in some truth but little truth also other paradox.

Default The influence of cinema on to the social consciousness

It's difficult to separate the image of a nation in cinema and the image in the social consciousness at all. After all I haven't seen many movies but I know about European nations?

For example Italy and Italians:

- Their temperament is hot and they have quick speech almost without gaps
- This country is corrupt. It was for decades and centuries but they struggle against corruption now
- These people are very gifted on music. The Italian stage of 80s was especially great.

Stereotypes are stereotypes! Nothing really genuine about them, nevertheless they are just stereotypes.

Germans are cold, punctual, hard-working, disciplined, show no feelings, lacking in a sense of humor. They are all big-boned, blond-haired and loved their beer!😄
The French are a bunch of intellectual pessimists, love to go on strike all the time. They're full of arrogance,They love their freedom though, for leisures such as summer vacations. They are very romantic and the women are usually stylish.

Spaniards are proud Catholics, fearless bullfighters, great dancers, brown-skinned.

Italians are welcoming, creative, mob-orientated, corrupt, all have the most beautiful shoes, cars and women!

Well, what can you expect from Hooliwood? It wouldn't be Hooliwood if they would create movies about flowers instead of hooligans fighting.

My favourite Hooliwood movies are "Teddy Boys '95 in Belgrade" and "Millwall vs Chelsea". "12 Years a F-side" is also good.

I have never heard someone stereotyping spaniards as brown skinned, Its usually ignorant people from the US who call spanish those from mexico, el salvador, guatemala or honduras and believe people in spain are just the same as them.

If anything Spaniards and Italians are both stereotypes by having dark hair and eyes (mediterranean looks) which is fairly accurate anyways, at least talking about the majority.

Stereotypes are not meant to be accurate all the time!

I don't think that most Americans would confuse Mexicans with Spaniards. By the term "Hispanic" we mean "Spanish-Speaking" not from Spain! OK? Perhaps the ". Brown skin" stereotype comes from them tanning really well. I don't really know. It's only a stereotype.

Americans stereotype Spaniards almost as much as zektor stereotypes Americans. Which is to say quite a lot.

Yeah even Spaniards and Italians don't look alike to me. Spaniards have usually smaller noses than Italians or Greeks. This is only my opinion not from an actual study.

- Germans: efficient, committed to order, discipline and rules, and with a strong sense of citizenship. They used to be very cohesive (as a nation).

- Italians: kickass and bad guys, very dishomogenous people, lawless (because they're not a people), very creative, possess innate sense of taste, luxury, beauty, poetry or any sort of art, everything that is metaphorically sweet and pleasant.

- French: lovers of a big and burdensome form of government, they have very good taste and style very similar to the italians, but they are snobby.

- Spaniards: bullfighting, great dancers, lazy (quite true stereotype), full of passion and spirit.

- Brits: very efficient, they used to be very proud of their country, good businessmen (avid capitalists), loyal to their country, disastrous in creativity, bad looking (due to many factors), easily conformable by the rules.
