The Swiss are skilled and reasonable people; as far as I know, both Germany and Italy have failed so far to build the fitting railroads as the tunnel is intended as an international route from south to north.

Well the Germans aren't that unskilled. The Herrenknecht tunnel boring equipment used for drilling the tunnel is from Baden, Germany.

Came across this today:

The Opening Ceremony of the World's Largest Tunnel Was a Bizarre Occult Ritual - The Vigilant Citizen - Symbols Rule the World

They did an occult and disturbing opening ceremony, I wouldn't have expected this from the Swiss whom I usually respect as skilled and reasonable men.
