Just curious are the reported terrorist attacks in places like France and Germany over the last year detouring anyone that was considering travelling in Europe from going?

Wasn't planning to travel in EU anyways, but met quite a few people who decided to vacation in their own country (Holland) this year. If I had planned to vacation in EU this year, I'd never have cancelled my travels.

Changing my lifestyle, that is what those b..... want. If they hate the western lifestyle, going out and have fun, then I will do it twice more just to **** them off.

The risk of being injured by a terror attack is increasing, but its still far lower than being killed in traffic, by wrong treatment in hospital, by malaria or any other kind of desease, insects, spiders, snakes, sharks, whatever. I am not saying that I am not aware of the risk, and the situation would be acceptable (actually it is horrible), but I will not change my life just because of those pieces of human garbage.

Exactly! If you stay away, then the terrorists have won.

That would be pretty silly.

The chance of a terrorist attack happening to you anywhere in the western world would be ridiculously small. You are MUCH more likely to be killed in a car accident or something of that nature.

I'm more resolute than ever. We were discussing our next trip at dinner the other evening and we're debating between Europe and Japan. If Europe wins, our first destination will be NCE. If it does not, it will have nothing to do with these dirtbags.

Screw the pieces of **** who want to ruin our way of life.

^^^ This!
There is EVERYDAY some shooting or other violent incidents in my city. The chances to get injured/robbed/killed are much higher here.
I am going to Europe in 4 weeks. Like every year.
I feel much safer there.

Yeah, I have been in a car some 10 times this year, I try to avoid it as it's so extremely dangerous. Almost 7000 people died in traffic-related accidents in France and Germany alone.

If 300 people died in a terrorist attacks in Europe in 2015 and now in 2016, you would need 2800 attacks all killing that 300, or 7.7 terrorist attacks per day, to equal the fatality toll of traffic deaths.

And don't even get me started on alcohol, tobacco and narcotics related deaths.

The real mega terrorist boss was the 2003 European Heat Wave, which killed 70,000 without firing a single shot.

If I wouldn't have paid for my trip to South Germany and France (Nice of course) in August, I would probably reschedule.
